About Jennifer Kay
Jennifer Kay Brown was born in Saint Petersburg, FL on April 26, 1961 to devoted parents, Mildred Brown and Revered A. Jerome Brown. Kay, as she was affectionately called, was raised in High Springs, Florida. It was in the rural, close knit community that Kay attended church and school. Kay was Vice President of the 1979 graduating class at Santa Fe High School. Having earned required credits to graduate, she actually received her high school diploma during the summer of 1978. Kay also graduated from Santa Fe Community College and attended the University of Florida.
Kay was a talented pianist who perfected her craft for 38 years. Kay enjoyed teaching new songs to choirs and had no shame in rehearsing songs for months before the selection would make its “debut” for the congregation. Kay was a hard worker, she loved making connections with anyone she would meet, and she loved her family tremendously.
